• Details:  This mid-century Chokin bud vase makes a beautiful addition to any home. Its sophisticated black finish perfectly complements the brass etchings of a temple pagoda in the mountains, creating a classic Japanese design sure to impress.  Chokin is the ancient Japanese art of engraving copper and gilding it with precious gold and silver in gorgeous detail, you know you are looking at very fine craftsmanship.  Vase looks like its lacquered to avoid tarnishing.  It retains its original foil sticker: "Fine Arts, Japan".  A gorgeous decoration for a bookshelf, table top or office. Great gift for an Asian decor collector!
